Happy Birthday, Dad!

{my dad pushing me in my pram, circa 1973}

Yesterday my Dad turned 70!
He is one of the smartest men I know.
Seriously, his brain is like a treasure trove of information...
history, world events, photography, computers, electronics.
He is generous and has always sought to provide the best
for my brother and I, even now when we are grown.
He shares the same passion for German luxury cars as Jimmy,
thank goodness, because that is one topic I could care less to talk about.
He is private, but sensitive.
Still speaks with a Danish accent.
And still tells me every time I back out of the driveway to watch for
other cars, or the trash can, or the dark, or the slippery road.
Every. Time.
I Love You, Dad!

  1. That picture is priceless! What a sweet father you have and he raised a wonderful daughter. btw, My husband has a bit of danish ancestry as well!...and weboth own german cars haha!
