I had the pleasure of treating a beautiful friend to an afternoon in her honor as we celebrated the upcoming {in 2 weeks} arrival of her baby girl. Katie is the kind of friend that makes you want to give her a party ~ someone who has all the qualities you most want in a good friend. We had a really nice time and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all this pink in my typically boy filled home.
{Recipes, party sources and a coupe DIYs to come next week! Promise!}
Your shower for katie turned our beautifully. I am sure she and your guests had a wonderful time.

This party was incredible! You are an amazing host! Thank you for all that you do for Katie, she is lucky to have a wonderful friend like you!
ReplyDeleteI have officially become a Tessa wanna be! You have just my kind of style. I love everything you do from cooking and decorating to clothing. Hope you don't mind that I repin many of your pins on pinterest. Where are your white cake stands from?
ReplyDeleteAngie
thank you, angie! wow, i'm so very flattered! as for the cake stands they come from different places. the ruffled one is from williams and sonoma. they discontinued the line and i'm still upset i didn't buy one of the smaller ones! the large white one in the center of the table is also williams and sonoma and they currently have it available. the smaller white one in the center of the table is the least expensive of the bunch and is from sur la table's everyday white dish collection. i think they still make it but i'm not 100% sure. thanks so much for reading and your kind words!

This makes me laugh...you and I are so alike. Our houses look so much alike. we both love and use Holly Mathis. I have 4 boys and you 2. We have emailed before re the silhouettes you have in your dining room, I used the same frames and copied you in ours. I was just redirected to your blog from holly's. I love your plans for your boys' room. I may have to copy some of that for ours as soon as our little guy is out of his crib probably late this year. Our styles are eerily similar. So fun....I love your collage wall by your stairs, yes have one here too.
