LIFE IS GOOD....
when you spend the morning at the Firetruck Museum with your buddies
(even if your Mama circled the city 6 times in order to find it
and called your Daddy in a panic b/c she ended up in the sketchy part of town)....
even better when you get to control the sirens and flashing lights.
AND your Mama lets you wear your PJ bottoms from naptime,
AND you get to hang out with the coolest brother in the entire universe!
LIFE IS GOOD...
when you swing from rings, jump on trampolines,
climb through tunnels, and run under parachutes.
AND LIFE IS REALLY, REALLY, REALLY GOOD...
when you get a stamp on your belly!
Here's hoping you get plenty of belly stamps or whatever it is that makes you happy this weekend!
xo,
Tessa
Did I know you lived in Cincy? I probably did and that's probably how I found you in the first place but I feel like it's a new discovery. I'm just down the road in Lexington.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the picture of the boys hugging is the most precious picture I've seen all day! From the Joey Votto shirt/pj combo to the fact that the older one is actually willing to touch his little brother, it's just adorable. Ah, the BonBonerie, now I'm hungry!
life is good! and those boys of yours are adorable. have a great weekend.....
ReplyDeleteLovin' that first pic! And the static hair is pretty good too!

Love the images of your two sons - how precious! Yup, looks like he had quite the day - I bet he slept well that evening!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I want my little boys back. Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteLife sounds perfect ~ great photos of both boys.

I love it! Your boys make me smile!
ReplyDeleteLove this post. Nothing beats brothers.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! My older son's third birthday party was at our local fire station. I have the greatest pics of him in his firefighter hat sitting behing the wheel of the fire truck. I was very pregnant with boy #2 and had to ask the fire captain to lift him up there. Such sweet memories! He's 17 now. How I miss those "little boy" days!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy them!

Tessa, I've skulked around your blog several times but never commented. However, when I read about your panicked call from the sketchy part of town, I had to laugh. My husband’s gotten so many of those calls from me that he finally bought me a GPS! Your blog is beautiful. Thanks to your inspiration I have pillow fabric laying on my couch and pictures waiting to be hung. My son is just a little younger than your youngest and boy do I enjoy reading your thoughtful, heartfelt musings on motherhood, love, family, and homes where all of this can flourish. Thanks for sharing—I think your “Life is Good” zeal is contagious.
ReplyDeleteLOVE: your dining room (seen first at Holly Mathis); your blog; your wonderful pics of your kids with firetrucks (brings back memories of my son -who's now 12 - when he was that age); and your playlist!!!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's new loves are firetrucks and trains! She would love this museum. Thanks for sharing pics of your children - they look truly happy!
