Now back inside, I am suppose to be paying bills online but instead I'm looking through some old pictures in a file labeled "pretty pics" and was reminded how lovely pink can be in a home. I remember thinking, many years ago, that I wanted my first place to be decorated in all pink, grey and cream. In our first home, I wallpapered our master bedroom in a pink, grey, cream and sage green cabbage rose pattern from Ralph Lauren. It wasn't one of my best decisions. The room was too large with a vaulted ceiling and the the paper was all wrong. My poor husband never complained, but it was WAY too girly girl. The funny thing is a single father (of a young boy) purchased our house. I'd bet that paper came down the first weekend he was in the home. Now with three boys, I really don't use any pink. A little raspberry & apricot maybe, but no pink (unless it's in the occasional bouquet).
